GETTING TO THE RESIDENCE
1. TRAVELLING TO CORSICA
There are two ways to reach our beautiful island:
By plane or by ferry.
Once in Corsica, travelling by car is the best way to reach the Residence and fully discover all the charms of the region.
If you are planning to rent a vehicle, we strongly recommend booking well in advance to ensure availability.
Ferry arrivals are available to: Porto-Vecchio, Bastia, Ajaccio and Calvi.
The nearest harbour is Porto-Vecchio Harbour: 11 km from the Residence via the D468 or 16 km via the D668 and the T10.
The nearest airport is Figari–Sud Corse Airport, located 33 km from the Residence via the D859.

Travellers wishing to reach Porto-Vecchio from Figari Airport can use the Direct Shuttle Bus.

Arriving by Ferry via Bastia Harbour or by Plane via Poretta Airport:
The bus company Les Rapides Bleus operates regular services between Porto-Vecchio and Bastia Harbour (with airport drop-off at Poretta available from 1 June to 31 October).

2. HOW TO REACH THE RESIDENCE
The Residence location is available on all major navigation apps and search engines.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Summer Access Changes in San Ciprianu Village.
From mid-June until the end of August, access routes to the centre of the San Ciprianu marina village are modified.
From late June until early September: the main street, Corsu Napulionu, becomes pedestrian -only every evening from 6:00 p.m., as well as on Fridays and public celebration days.
During the summer season, San Ciprianu comes alive with: concerts, night markets, themed evenings, and many festive events.
The atmosphere is lively, family-friendly, and welcoming for both children and adults.
Every evening from 6:00 p.m., the main street is pedestrianised, allowing visitors to stroll peacefully from shop to shop without traffic, ensuring safe and convivial summer evenings. As a result, the direct main access to Cala di Sole Residence is modified during this period. A detailed access map is provided in every apartment to help you reach the Residence easily.
Should you have any difficulty navigating the maze of small streets and pathways throughout the village, please do not hesitate to contact us — we will gladly guide you.
But don’t worry… you will never be far away. As the saying goes :“All roads lead to Rome” — or in this case, to Cala di Sole Residence!
Free Parking:
The Residence provides one free parking space per apartment.
Parking spaces are uncovered, unsupervised, non-assigned and located in the immediate vicinity of the apartments.
Please note that the Residence does not currently offer electric vehicle charging stations.
Arrival & Life at the Residence
ARRIVAL & LIFE AT THE RESIDENCE
1. Arrival Time
Check-in takes place between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
If you expect to arrive later, please inform us a few days in advance by phone, text message, or email so that we can be present to welcome you.
2. Balance Payment & Security Deposit
Upon arrival, we will show you around your apartment. At that time, you will also settle the remaining balance of your stay.
A security deposit of €400 (four hundred euros) must be provided either: by cheque, in cash or by secure card pre-authorisation through a fully digital and secure process via our management software Amenitiz. The deposit will be returned on the day of departure provided that no damage or breakage is identified at the end of your stay.
Please note: for security deposits made by card pre-authorisation, the amount is generally not charged but simply held temporarily by your bank, which may affect the spending limit of the card used. This depends entirely on your bank’s policy.
LIFE AT THE RESIDENCE
1. Internet Access
The Residence provides complimentary fibre internet access.
The Wi-Fi password will be given to you upon arrival.
We kindly ask guests to use the connection reasonably and not share access with persons outside the Residence. At certain times, the connection speed may occasionally slow down when many users are connected simultaneously. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience.
2. Household Waste & Recycling
Several waste collection and recycling points are available throughout the village of San Ciprianu.
The nearest containers to the Residence are located in the parking area behind the pizzeria "U San Ciprianu”, in the heart of the marina village.
To reach the two other collection points, leave the village centre via Boulevard Napoléon. At the junction with the D668: if you turn right, you will immediately find containers for household waste, recycling, textiles, and cardboard; if you turn left and continue towards TiKi Beach, another collection point is located on the left-hand side just before the beach, in a large parking area. If you notice that a collection point is full, please use the nearest available one in order to avoid waste accumulating on the ground. A location map is available in each apartment.
3. Equipment & Facilities
Air Conditioning & Ceiling Fans:
All apartments are equipped with reversible air conditioning units in the bedrooms only.
The controls are mounted on the wall near the doors.To ensure optimal cooling efficiency, please remember to keep all windows and openings closed while the air conditioning is operating. Each apartment is also equipped with an electric ceiling fan in the living area.
4. Flat-Screen Television
Each apartment is equipped with a flat-screen television receiving French TNT channels only.
5. Foot Rinse Areas
On the ground floor of each building, you will find a small foot-rinse station with a handheld shower.
This allows you to rinse off sand from your feet (and your furry companion’s paws!) before returning to your apartment and helps keep the beach sand outside where it belongs.
6. Extras – Optional Paid Services
* Laundry Service :
Laundry service is not included in the accommodation price.
You may either bring your own bed linen and towels or rent them on site.
If you choose to bring your own bed linen and towels, please find the bed dimensions below:
-Apartments No. 5, 6, 7 & 8: one 160 cm double bed and two 90 cm single beds
-Apartments No. 1, 2 & 3: one 140 cm double bed and two 90 cm single beds
-Apartment No. 4 "Ground Floor Apartment”: two 90 cm single beds that can be joined together to create a 180 cm double bed and one 140 cm sofa bed in the living area.
Bath mats and kitchen towels are provided automatically.

Upon request, the Residence provides complete linen packs including: bed linen and bathroom towels.

* Mid-Stay Housekeeping:
Upon request, housekeeping service can be arranged during your stay.
We kindly ask that you notify us at least 72 hours in advance.
Rate: €30/hour (VAT included)

* Pets:
The Residence accepts one small pet only per apartment (dog or cat), provided the animal is clean and well-behaved.
Weekly Rate: €35 or €5/night
7. A Special Request? A Comment?
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you notice missing essential equipment or malfunctioning appliances. We will do our best to intervene as quickly as possible.
8. House Rules:
To preserve everyone’s comfort and peace and quiet, we kindly ask our guests to avoid making noise to a minimum between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
DEPARTURE DAY
Check-out: Departure must take place no later than 10:00 a.m.
1. End-of-Stay Cleaning
Two options are available:
a) You leave the apartment clean and in the same condition as upon arrival.
Please ensure:
-Refrigerator emptied and cleaned freezer defrosted
-Bathroom and toilet cleaned
-Barbecue emptied / Electric griddle cleaned
-Dishwasher emptied
-Vacuumed floors
Each apartment is fully equipped with cleaning supplies: vacuum cleaner, broom, mop, sponges, and cleaning products.
b)You choose the end-of-stay cleaning package:
Flat rate: €85
Even if you choose the cleaning package, we kindly ask that you remove all rubbish from the apartment before departure.
2. Check-out Inventory Inspection
On the day of departure, we will inspect the apartment together.
The security deposit paid upon arrival will then be fully refunded provided that no damage has been identified.
Please do not hesitate to inform us if any equipment or appliance malfunctioned during your stay.

4. Shuttle Buses from Porto-Vecchio to Figari South Corsica Airport
The South Corsica Community Council operates year-round transport services between Figari–Sud Corse Airport and Porto-Vecchio (bus station), with two transport options available:
-The Direct Line: only 3 return journeys per day (approximately 30 minutes)
-The A Berlina Network – Line B: only 2 return journeys per day (approximately 40 minutes)

Arrival: Figari Airport — "FIGARI AEROPORTU"

To get to the coach station from the Cala di Sole Residence, the only option is to book a taxi using the contact details provided above.

2. Pinarellu Beach
This magnificent sandy bay, partly bordered by a pine forest, is located only 8 km from the Residence — approximately 15 minutes by car.
The charming marina village of Pinarellu offers many beachfront restaurants, perfect for a gourmet break facing the sea.
To get there: from the VITO service station roundabout at the exit of San Ciprianu, turn right onto the D468 and follow the signs towards "Pinarellu" in Sainte-Lucie de Porto-Vecchio.

3. Palombaggia Beach
Probably one of the most famous beaches in Europe thanks to its breathtaking scenery!
This vast white sandy beach alternates with iconic red rocks and crystal-clear turquoise waters.
Beach restaurants and water sports activities are available on site, although prices tend to be relatively high.
Distance from the Residence:22 km — approximately 30 minutes by car (significantly longer during peak summer season).

Rent a boat from François at the marina shop and reach the beach by sea! The trip is absolutely worth it — and you will avoid traffic jams.
4. Tamaricciu Beach
Often nicknamed "Palombaggia’s little sister", Tamaricciu Beach lies just south of Palombaggia. This site is simply breathtaking: white sand, umbrella pines, turquoise waters, and the famous red rocks create a truly paradise-like setting. Because the area is extremely fragile and protected by the Coastal Conservatory, visitors are encouraged to respect the environment and behave responsibly.
Access: Coming from Porto-Vecchio. Follow the Route de Palombaggia. After passing through Piccovaggia village: do not take the junction leading to Palombaggia Beach, continue straight ahead, after a few kilometres, park on the roadside.The remainder of the route must be completed on foot.Take the path to the right of the stone wall, then at the next junction turn right towards the beach.

The Marina lies at the foot of the Old Town and runs alongside Quai Pascal Paoli, lined with numerous: restaurants, ice cream parlours and boutiques.
Starting from the restaurant "La Marine", we recommend walking along the marina quays towards the salt marshes located behind the ferry docks where visitors arrive by ferry.
You may also drive directly there and park in the small car park located just after the ferry terminal. From behind the ferry quay, follow the small dirt path.
For many years, Porto-Vecchio was known as the "City of Salt". Its economy long depended on:
salt production,wood,and cork exploitation.
Salt production finally ended in the year 2000.
This easy and peaceful walk through the salt marshes, surrounded by nature just minutes from the town centre, is ideal for observing: herons, flamingos, seagulls and the local mascot, Harry the Pelican, who has made the marshes his home.

🔥 U LUDDAREDDU - Traditional Porto-Vecchio FestivalNight of July 31, 2026
A traditional Porto-Vecchio celebration held every year from 4:00 p.m. until late at night in the Old Town.
In Corsican, "Luddareddu" means “Little July”.The festival centres around the symbolic burning of a straw man representing the month of July.
The evening includes: local entertainment, donkey rides for children, concerts, Corsican singers and musicians, and a festive atmosphere throughout the town.
Location: Place Général Henri Giraud (Upper Town of Porto-Vecchio).
